from Analyzing Apparitions of an Excavated XXIV
I.
I
among antemeridian’s abbreviated
bridge of tonal
silence varied assimilation foreign proclamation,
breath and fortune
reside within
various species of gradated grays:
creatures
seldom whole upon silhouette’s antiquated identity
roam
into blame of notated burgeon
created illusion ?
questioned hope or
negated fantasy.
Sound now is sacred.
Scent is mutated interpretations of distance’s aggregated deaths.
Organoleptic
misery
(unyet dissection of metaphysical architecture)
envelopes
rectitude of
morbid health this
thickened charcoal
resembles among
ancient desires to collocate light-understanding.
II.
Cerulean flexures
thickened ceiling of articulated absence
goal of golden italics
ideologies promoted
range of vocalized discomfort—
this
prognostication of light, ancestral to the watcher’s dispositional hankering
retains the
enigmatic cultural delusion of
self
wearing venerating garb
dictating aligned fantastical
ranges of
formulated gris-gris
specialized devotion toward
held discomfort;
soon
is the supposition
of energized wealth, and I
wander
extricating
movement’s various indifference as
this hour’s involvement hides and eludes much
articulating endeavors, mimesis of
extended hypotheses
III.
Cold circumvolves its thistle fingers
constricts
condemns my
isolated watching.
Throat
of my visual appearance
widened target
as to compliment death’s worried condescension—
enemies portrayed within illusion
of mangle. Unrest, then I
contemplate mathematical solution:
prior
watchers
hunt and
hallucinate
rendering sacred conceptual freedoms anterior
owned. Hands whose
cluttered palms rise from erasing symptoms
collate disregard (the callus rendition of existential boredom)
but I
alone and studying abstract conclusions
progress to the leaning attribute of
fundamental foreignness
dissevering what delves and hides
congenitally fearful.
IV.
This distance is her camaraderie. The her I left to invent reconstructed patterns. I invite her image to
etch and unravel, —entice and understand, yet
within this womb of watched expansion my
leaving unfastens corporeal
manifests
whose
finite motives coalesce resolved, denying backwards as conceptual hall towards
re-experiencing faded echoes. Cold remains.
Harsh
though my breath formulates synchronized twirls of focused dissipation. Thus
examining
becomes enjoyed constructs of neoteric evidence
hitherto leaped from tongues of prose and reflecting memories
pursuant assemblage roles or radiance asterisks
reprobating motive to realize prophecy.
V.
Predestinarianism
perhaps my
cross-legged habitual stillness
resembles
arch of woven personas
through deliberate
alphabetic molds of intentional perspective? My western
direction
now
resembles embrace of spectral
confinement a perchance lineation
assuming lightened achromatic
present whose ink
dismantles murder of colorized belief of demonstrating
combinational
involvement. And yes
cold continues.
VI.
Delusion appears antiquated
my
mid-lam nous
industrializes bark of here’s ornamental oak
shadow-held
silver of embroidery’s
reenacted temporal
curtailing flesh’s
gnarled vernacular
composing apologetic conferences of the esoteric freedom
palpable
sear
evokes revolving wanderings
disencumbering physiques
of the disbanded beautifications.
